Senior Barista
Full-timeWe're looking for an experienced specialty barista with a passion for the craft. You will lead our morning espresso bar at Sakae Honten, mentor junior staff, and contribute to seasonal menu development. SCA certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2+ years specialty coffee experience
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing
- Comfortable leading a small team
- Japanese language ability (business level) preferred
Pastry Chef
Full-timeOur kitchen produces everything in-house each morning. We're looking for a pastry chef who is equally at home with French viennoiserie and Japanese-inspired sweets. You will have creative ownership of our baked goods and seasonal specials.
- Experience in a professional pastry kitchen
- Ability to scale recipes and manage morning prep timelines
- Openness to Japanese seasonal ingredients
- Food handling certification required
Front of House
Part-timeThe face of Amelie. You will welcome guests, take orders, maintain the floor, and make sure every person who walks through our door feels genuinely at ease. No coffee experience required — we train you. Warmth and attentiveness are what we're looking for.
- Conversational Japanese required
- Basic English helpful
- Weekend availability required
- Friendly, calm, and detail-oriented
